SEC Review Week 7

Saturday, October 17, 2026

All results final · AP poll released October 18

Alabama left Knoxville smoked. Georgia lost to Auburn. Texas lost again. A pretty good Saturday to be wearing orange got better every time we checked another score.

Tennessee is 6–1, 3–1 in the SEC and No. 11 in the new AP poll. The league still has plenty of traffic ahead. The Vols just gave themselves a much better seat in it.

What It Means for Tennessee

Tennessee beat Alabama and watched Auburn improve the value of the Vols’ earlier win. There is opportunity here. There is also a road trip to Columbia, and the next step is taking this level of defensive play and offensive patience with them.
